A rarity in the antique and old cut diamond world - a diamond with a higher color! History tells us that most high color antique and vintage diamonds were recut (literally b y the buckets) in the 80s and 90s, an era when most jewelers and dealers did not think there was value in antique jewels. They took the whitest and cleanest diamonds and recut them into what everyone wanted at the time - modern round brilliants.
This particular diamond somehow survived that fate - she is blocky and bright, has that killer flower-like faceting, full of life and charm. What a gorgeous piece of jewelry this diamond would make.
